Is this site secure?
This web site uses the Actinic
ecommerce shopping cart to take orders. 1024-bit Diffe-Hellman
encryption is used to take credit card details securely. When
a credit card number is entered on our cart it is immediately
encrypted and sent in its encrypted form en-route to the server
(which hosts the web site) where it remains encrypted on the server
until they are downloaded and then decrypted on our Hempstar computer
offline.
Actinic
have never heard of any instance of this encryption being 'cracked'
by anyone using this system. Reflecting their solid reputation,
Actinic ecommerce software is approved by major UK High Street
banks including Lloyds TSB and Natwest.

How can I pay for seeds?
Currently there are two methods a customer can use to pay for
seeds.
- By Credit Card - simply browse through our
shopping cart, select your items and proceed to the checkout.
Fill in your relevant contact and delivery details and you will
then be taken to the secure encrypted part of the web site where
your credit card details can be taken. Currently we accept Visa,
Delta, Mastercard, JCB, Switch & Solo
- By Bank Fund Transfer - payment for goods can
be made direct to the Hempstar bank account. Simply email Hempstar
direct with details of your order, including name, telephone number
and your address (& delivery address if different) and use
the following details bank details to deposit your payment into
our bank account.
Once we have confirmed that payment has been made, goods in
stock with be dispatched within 24 hours.

When I can I expect to receive my order?
For UK orders we use Royal Mail Special Delivery. Where goods
are in stock they are generally received within 24 hours of dispatch
.
For international orders we use Royal Mail International Delivery.
Where goods are in stock expect to receive your goods approx 3-5
days after dispatch.

Do you ship to my country?
Hempstar ship worldwide (and across the universe). Please note
that on Earth, legislation about the legality of collecting seeds
sent through the post is often inconsistent and/or contradictory.
Prior to placing an order, customers should check their national,
state and bylaws.
Hempstar does not want to encourage, induce or mislead a customer
into acting in conflict with the law. Hempstar cannot be held
responsible for those who do. Responsibility of the end product
lies with the customer.

Do you offer a discreet delivery?
We respect our customers need for discretion and ship our products
to reflect this. All Hempstar products are shipped in a standard
Royal Mail plastic 'no see-thru' outer bag.

How do I store my seeds?
Seed packets should be stored in a cool, dry, dark and secure
place. To retain freshness, seed packets should only be opened
prior to actual use.
